Assigning Classes To Menu Objects And Page Body Elements

Hi!
I would like to have a feature for assigning classes to menu objects, from within the menu editor, that are printed in the li elements class lists. This is because I want to be able to style different menu items with for example different colors.
I also would like for you to introduce a feature in the page editor to assign classes to pages body elements. This too is for styling purposes.
I know that this can be done with the menu ids and page ids, but it would be easier if we can assign classes for that.

The possibility of giving the li-element in the menu a class already exists. Call up the menu administration. Then you have the “screen options” at the top right. Open this. Check the box for “CSS classes”. Then you have a new field for entering a class for each menu item.
