Hi there,
I’m new to WordPress, and I’m a beginner to blogging, so I definitely need some help. My new blog — http://www.investinginmiami.org — is nearing completion.
I’ve created several buttons on the navigation menu. What I’d like to do is make it so that every time I do a blog post I can “assign” it to a particular button on the navigation bar.
For example, if I write an entry on the topic of 401ks or on Social Security, I’d like to assign those posts to the Retirement button on the navigation bar. That way, when visitors visit the home page and click on “Retirement” in the navigation bar, they’ll see everything I’ve ever posted relating to retirement, including the posts on 401ks and Social Security. The same goes for posts associated with “Young Pros,” “Planner’s Perspective,” etc.
I see that I can create tags. But I don’t know how to make these tagged posts show up under the corresponding buttons in the navigation. Please help — I’m stuck. Blogging is brand new to me, so step-by-step instructions are welcome! Thanks!
Jonathan
