Assigning the added fields to different forms

I want to add my desired fields to the profile edit page. By default, this feature wasn’t available in the plugin, so I had to download and install the profile editing addon from the plugin’s profile builder extensions.
The problem I’m facing now is that whenever I add a field in the form fields section, it gets automatically added to the registration form! And there’s no option to specify which page the field should appear on. I can assign the field to the profile edit page using the editing addon, but it still shows up on the registration page as well — and I don’t want it to appear on both pages.
