    Hi all

Can anybody help with this problem i’m having with my site..

Some of my players “assist” stats are not showing up correctly.

    For example:-

If you look at the Stats widget (3rd down on the right) of my site Northampton Town Ladies FC you will see our top scorer (Emma Dunmore) has 18 assists.

If you click on the link on her name Emma Dunmore – you will see she actually has 23 assists.

11 assists in the league, 6 in both of the cups (which totals 23) – and it even shows this in the figure at the bottom.

This also happens with a few other players, Leah Stacey who the widget shows has 13 assists, but she actually has 21 assists.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi!

Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry for the trouble.

Usually, these issues are related to your data entry or plugin conflicts.

I recommend you disabling all plugins (but sportspress), then set all your events as drafts. Then you can publish them one by one to see which events when published still won’t affect your player’s stats.

After that, you can check what is wrong with them (wrong team, season, competition..)

    Thanks!

Did all the above, and it’s still showing the same….

I think it is (as you say) a data conflict..

Might have happened when (whilst updating the stats) we had a power cut and my router cut off…

I’ll just stick with it (unless there IS a solution), as we only have 6 games left.

    Hi!

    Thanks for your reply!

When you set your events as drafts you should be able to at least see which events are causing the wrong data association. That’s because your stats should be zero when you do that then you can switch events to published one by one.

    Thanks!

I turned ALL events to draft, and it’s STILL showing data in the stats.

So I presume I have an error in my data somewhere online?

We only have 8 games left this season, so I can live with it – unless of course there is a way to edit the online “data” that is wrong?

    Hi!

    Thanks for your reply!

If when you set all events as drafts there’s still data, you probably have some player adjustments. Please check these player profiles.

Also, please make sure you are setting all events as drafts (not just events for a certain season) so we’ll know if it’s some data from another season or competition.

    Thanks!

I’ve checked the player profiles and set ALL data to ZERO

However, it still shows a value in there..

There’s only data in there from THIS current season, and ALL are set to draft.

I’ve left the Events on DRAFT, so you can have a look.

If you look at the 3rd widget down on the right hand side, Leah Stacey is showing as 13 assists, but click on her profile and ALL data is ZERO…

    Hi!

    Thanks for testing!

Please kindly send us some screenshots of your player edit screen.

Also is that a player list? If yes, what do you see in the player list edit screen?

What happens when you recreate it?

    Thanks!

    Thread Starter stampyntfc

    (@stampyntfc)

Player edit screen as requested for Leah Stacey below….

    Screengrab of player profile

As you can see, there is NO data (i.e – ALL numerical fields are ZERO)

Exact same screen in the player list.

When you say RECREATE it, do you mean re-create the player’s page?

    Hi!

    Thanks again for your screenshot.

I meant deleting and creating the player page once again.

To be honest I’m not sure what could be causing this. We’ve checked all the main possibilities.

Since we can’t check your wp-admin (WordPress rules) our only option at the point is simply deleting and recreating your data (player, player list…)

    Thanks!

    Hi..

    Finally sorted it out….

It seemed my PLAYER LIST was causing it – it had a few 0’s (zero’s) in there.

I deleted all the 0’s and it’s back working again..

    Thanks for the help!!
