Hi Hube,
Hope you have asked about this point — Post reference (using Types Parent / Child relationships management) . It means you can create Child Posts under a Post. Please check following links for more details.

So, this type of field is not available. Until now I have been using the Advanced Custom Fields plugin. We do a lot of sites that eventually end up being multilingual and to make the switch to using WPML easier in the future we are trying to make sure we use only compatible plugins, that is why we’ve switched to this one.
However, the other plugin provides a lot more flexibility when it comes to the types of fields that can be created. Are there any plan to add additional field types to this plugin?
Looks like I’ll be going back to that one. More likely using both as you plugin does have some features I can use most of the time. But without all of the field types it is not a complete solution for me right now.
Hi Hube2,
You can create Custom Fields Groups under Post/Page. From Post/Page Edit Screen you add field values.
You can also assign Multiple Parent for a Custom Post Type. For an example you can choose Post and Page as parent of a custom post type P1.
Can you please explain little more about “I could add a select box to pick pages/posts but I don’t see how this is possible” for a better understanding.

What I was looking for is a way to select another page, similar to what the WP function shown here does, http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Function_Reference/wp_dropdown_pages
