Atom Publishing Protocol/XML-RPC documentation?

    I can’t seem to find documention on either of these protocols, but I see a lot of programs out there using them, so I know it’s out there somewhere.

    How can I learn to work with these protocols?

    I’ll be using them from a desktop application, if that matters. I figure REST is used in both cases.
