[NSFW] attachment issues and mobile issue

    when sending attachment they do not show for the sender in real time and only sometimes show for the person receiving. Also chat is not loading on my phone. Also I noticed when I actually got stuff to display the few times in troubleshooting many things did not work such as, videos failed to load, audio files failed to load etc. I am using the streamtube theme which has integrated your plugin.

    Hi there!

    Unfortunately there was bug with file uploading which is fixed in last version 2.0.85.

    If after update you are still having issues with file uploading, try to clean browser cache at that device.

    HI it was not the plugin version since I juist installed plugin for the first time today. BTW I tested on multiple browsers. I also disabled all plugins. As for mobile I am testing on my Pixel 4 XL Android 13

    What exactly is the issue with your phone? (send screen)

    The problematic version was available earlier today as well.

    Ensure that you have 2.0.85 installed and clean caches if you still have issues with file uploading.

    Thanks, I just now have seen that update and updated the plugin. The initial issue of the uploading hanging and not appearing is fixed but the following issues have been discovered.

    videos will not load, same thing happens with othwer embed types like audio files.

    on mobile chats will not load and just look like this animating in a loop

    When this setting is ticked:

    Hide Possible Overlaying Elements

    in mobile settings, the attachment button is not able to be clicked on my mobile device.

    I was able to get the chat to load briefly one time on my phone after updating the plugin and during that short time all attachments did nothing when attempting to send, no upload message, nothing.

    Hi there!

    Which video file formats are you trying to upload? Maybe they are just does not supported by browser to play?

    I do not know what can be wrong at your phone, try to clean browser cache. You can also use this method to debug your phone:

    Okay so the ONLY remaining issue is video/audio files not loading properly/playing. And of course, I run video tubes for a living so I am very knowledgeable about browser compatible MP4 videos. And no it does not work no matter how many times you reload the page or clear the cache of the site or browser. I disabled all plugin, videos started to work, i re-enabled one by one and found culprit, streamtube-core plugin. My themes author integrated your plugin into the streamtube theme. Some sort of setting in the themes core is preventing videos from working. existing videos sent to chat before plugin is disabled still do not work but newly sent video will work after disabling.

    Any idead what to do?

    also, still have not found out why audio files (mp3) do not load/play

    This lines does not seems related to Better Messages, try to see what console shows when you trying to see the uploaded video.

    Better Messages does not converts mp4 file to m3u8 playlist.. That is no sense! Also why the URL appeared at CDN? Do you using some media offload plugin? Probably there is some problem with it then?

    Yes I will need to contact theme author he will need to update his integration code with bunny CDN to disable fetching for better messages uploads. Thanks for your time and help.
