I also installed the OsTicket attachments plugin installed am am able to upload attachments through OsTicket with no problem. For some reason there is no option to upload when submitting a ticket through the plugin. Am i Missing something?

sounds like osticket again changed the attachment queries in the database.

we did not yet check out and/or fix things for version 1.9.7, we only checked up to 1.9.6

    Regards,

It is possible to move back to version 1.9.6?

I think it’s safer to wait till we updated our plugin for 1.9.7

also in the mean time you can double check if the plugin is set to 1.9.5.1 =>
(then it’s atleast set to know till 1.9.6)

Guess we will have an update for 1.9.7 within a week or so, depending ofcourse on how much queries they changed this time 🙂

    Hello,

Sorry for getting back at you this late.. was a busy week.

i have checked and found that osticket by default doesn’t save it’s values of extensions etc.

Go to the osticket admin –> Settings –> Tickets
at the bottom click “enduser attachment settings”

on the new screen configure your preferenses and press save.

Once done 1.9.7 should work with attachments without an issue 🙂

I am not sure what happened but I re-installed and enabled the attachments plugin and now everything is working great. Thanks for your help!
