Attachments

Currently, when I have a post with an attachment, it is indexing the post and attachment as 2 separate items.

1. I would prefer a scenario whereby it is indexed as 1 item only, therefore expecting that when the text found is solely in the attachment, the result set returned shows is still the post. Any chance that’s possible?

2. Additionally, I would then also like the result set to include a direct link to the attached file? Right now, it contains a link to the wordpress page that then has a link for the physical file. Can I customize the result set to include the link directly to download/view the physical file.
