Hello! Do I need to use a specific review output layout to have images uploaded save to a review submitted? Since I changed to the Expanded review layout attachments aren’t saving at review submission.
Also, is there a way to have text formatted in the review submission? My test review has spaces between paragraphs but the submission wraps all the text into one paragraph.

Hi irateapp,
The review image option should work, regardless of the layout you’re using.
Just to make sure, if you go to Options->Basic and scroll down to “Review Image”, is it enabled?
If so: before you switched to Expanded, were images showing with your previous chosen layout?
For your second question, what do you mean by “the submission” (would it be possible to send us a screenshot of what submission you’re referring to)?

The attachments uploaded to my site when I was using the standard layout. When I switched to Expanded then the attachments stopped uploading to my site.
The Submission means the Submit Review function via the Ultimate Review shortcode. In the Review field, can you make the text format to what the user inputs versus having the review text as plain text and one paragraph after clicking Submit?
To add,
I switched to Thumbnails view and the viewer can see which reviews don’t have images. I’ve added images to latest reviews after the review submission Submit point, and can see when the review is expanded by clicking the Review name link.

I looked at the source code of one of your images. The image URL contains HTML code for some reason… Could you go to that specific review (La Delizia) and re-add the image URL. Here is a screenshot: https://ibb.co/t4bvxK4
Also, could you add a new review, along with an image, and see if the error still occurs?

I’ve submitted reviews using Standard and Expanded view. The image isn’t uploading regardless of layout. I had another tester post a review and their image did save and is appearing. What could be causing me to not be able to upload images to WordPress and associate with Ultimate Reviews?

Since it worked with another tester, it sounds like it might be an issue with your browser (e.g. maybe there’s a browser add-on that’s blocking something)?
Would it be possible for you to test the image upload in either (1) another browser or (2) on a different computer and let us know the result?

I’m using an iPhone XR and the other tester is using an Android. I’ll attempt to use Google Chrome versus Safari in my iPhone and see if that makes a difference.

I tried different mobile browsers and I cannot upload images to the Ultimate Reviews I Submit. The images aren’t uploading to the site’s media section. My tester is using Android and has no issues saving images, and the images are saving to the site’s Media page.
Is my issue due to me being and Admin? Some setting is blocking my image submission to the site’s Media page? I’ve saved images in the past and after some setting I cannot save images now.

If you think it is because you are an admin, as an experiment, could you try using a different user on your device and see if it works?

I used a different mobile browser and created a new account at IRate.blog. I still cannot save images when I submit a review through the Ultimate Review submission form. I’m on iPhone XR iOS 12.3 and my tester is on Android (who can submit images).

Are you able to use your tester’s device, make sure to be logged into your account, and see if you’re able to save images when you submit a review?

I’ve been using my AppPressor app preview to submit reviews with images. I’m still leaning towards the WordPress admin login as my source of the issue, and the use of Safari or Chrome mobile which shows the WP Admin menu at the top even while submitting reviews from the Submit Review page I created with the Ultimate Review short code.
At this point, I’m not sure where to go next. Without testing it ourselves as an admin, it’d be hard to know what your specific issue. If you would like, you can email us at [email protected] and we can see if there are any other possible troubleshooting methods.
