Attachments for Custom Post Types / Meta Boxes

    Hey guys,

    following situation: I would like to create a Custom Post Type where people can create their own projects. These projects need several meta data. Most of them are no problem but it also needs a box where the user can add an unlimited amount for attachments (like PDFs, JPGs etc.).

    My researches didn’t bring up any really useful appraches. Does anyone know a good reference about this topic? Tutorials or examples? Or maybe a totally different way. I am open for everything. 🙂

    EDIT: OK, I just found the Attachment Plugin. Still I wonder if I can attach it to just certain posts AND if I can restrict it so the user that is using the media manager just can see the media HE has attached. Not every single media that is within the media manager.
