Attachments no longer uploading

Hello,

Attachments uploaded fine until recently. I have seen and adopted suggestions from mgibbs189 add to the functions.php file the following code:

add_filter( ‘d4p_is_bbpress’, ‘__return_true’ );

It didn’t work for me thought it has for others (which is why I’ve copied it).

I’ve seen it suggested that the fault could be to do with the WordPress Media Library but I can find no settings in WordPress that would allow or support the concept of uploading files to the library via this or any other plugin.

Can anyone think of other potential causes and how they might be investigated?
