Attachments not working?
-
When trying to attach a file to a ticket, the file never ends up coming through. This error is in the PHP server log each time:

Hi:
Is it that the attachment doesn’t show up at all on the ticket or is it that you can’t view the attachment after it was attached to the ticket?
Thanks.
The actual file never shows up after the post/ticket is submitted.
The host mentioned something potentially about the path of the $file in the PHP
But I’m not sure if it may only be related to not being able to access the .htaccess file directly?

Hi:
It looks like the web server configuration is preventing Awesome Support from writing to the folders/files it needs for file-uploads. Unfortunately the error message doesn’t provide the path that is being attempted to be written to.
You can double-check to make sure that the webserver is allowing awesome support to write to the WordPress uploads folder (including making folders) as well as the plugins/awesome-support folder. Those are the two most obvious locations to check.
Thanks very much.
Hi:
Since we haven’t heard back we’ll assume that this ticket is resolved.
Thanks!
