Attributes and tags update

    When I update a CSV file, I have a question about attributes and tags taxonomy. I notice that the importer will ADD attribute values and tags to previuos values instead of REPLACING them ?
    By example, I get in my csv file green value for color attribute.
    Then, if I was mistaken, I change to red.
    In the site, green and red will be seen as color values though I would like only red.
    I should remove previous value in the admin. Is there a solution with the CSV importer?

    any joy with this? I have the same issue…

    eg: incorrect attribute uploaded… tried to update with the correct attribute and ended up with both in play… the incorrect one is not removed…

    nightmare with 3,000+ products to locate and remove the incorrect ones manually…
