Attributes disappear?

Hello,
I am using the plugin to organize the attributes in alphabetical order (by clicking on the “product attributes” cell “edit attributes” button), this works fine and the attributes show in the product, but it must be copying them on a different location: from none of the attributes available seem to have been selected, they are not greyed out.
I am also using the “Compare” plugin by BeRocket, and after I organize them in alphabetical order the attributes disappear from the comparison tables, proof that the location or something must have changed as it doesn’t pick them up anymore.
fix:
I must remove the attributes 1 by 1, save, re-insert attributes, now the “compare” plugin sees them again.
I am talking with “Compare” developers as well in the meanwhile.
This is costing me hundreds of hours of work.
