Attributes table is empty

First, Thanks for this add-on. It’s very impressive. I installed on a new WP install on MAMP, which is where I do my development work. The import seemed to go great. Product attributes and variations can be seen in the back end ‘edit product’ and in the front end as selectable. The variation prices did not import correctly though, not did the images, which I didn’t really expect to as I had used PAPS (Product Attribute Pictures) in my osCommerce store which stores the images in the Paps folder.
To fix the attribute prices I installed ‘Woocommerce Bulk Edit Product Variations & Prices’ I then noticed that the attributes_taxonomies table is empty. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
