Hi,
happy to add a credit to GTranslate or remove the link to the CDN for flags 🙂
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Please let me know once the attribution has been added, and where it has been added.
Also, since you offered to remove the links to the CDN flags, please go ahead and remove those links as well.
I also see that GPTranslate is available on Joomla, and possibly on other platforms or distribution channels as well. Could you please make sure the same appropriate credit to GTranslate is added there too, wherever the reused code/assets/links are included?
Thanks again! 🙂
Hi edo,
you are most welcome.
I prefer to remove the link to CDN flags as all other parts of the plugin for both WP and Joomla have been developed by scratch and not reused.
I will go on shortly to update the version.
Thanks again for your understanding🙂

Hi,
I would like to ask you to review the language selector part specifically. In the video/demo, the language selector appears to visually match the one from GTranslate, not just be similar in concept: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qf9u_64nRvY&t=68s
Could you please check this part again and confirm whether any code, markup, CSS, JavaScript, assets, or implementation details from GTranslate were reused there?
If anything from GTranslate was reused, I would appreciate either proper attribution/credit being added, or that part being replaced with an independently developed implementation as well.
Thanks! 🙂
Hi Edo,
Yes, I can confirm that the language selector is an independently developed implementation, as you can check on the demo site: https://gptranslate.storejextensions.org/en/ that also includes an audio play button and functions as a popup trigger button.
This works the same for both platforms.
Thanks again 🙂
John
