On my Samsung S8+ the button doesn’t work. The phone is up to date. Instead of the normal button, it has a small square. It works fine on desktop. I have a custom child theme working with StudioPress Genesis. My theme is mobile responsive. I believe it is HTML5.

    My site is http://newyorkseriousinjuryattorneys.com
There are 4 short recordings on the homepage.
    The code I used is:
    [sc_embed_player fileurl=”http://www.lawfirm911.com/audio/SueD.mp3″]

On another website http://newyorkmotorcycleaccidentlawyer.com/, I replaced two of the shortcodes with the wordpress player. the wordpress player works on mobile but your plugin does not.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, I tested your site in Firefox on my laptop and the button does not work, I only see a square box. I can’t play the audio file.

I carried out a test on my testing platform using your shortcode and it worked on my laptop once I typed in the correct double quotes in the shortcode. I used Firefox browser.

Can you make sure that you are typing in the double quotes correctly.

After checking and adding the double quotes in the shortcode can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Sixteen or Seventeen. I am just trying to workout if it is a theme conflict.

    Let me know what happens.

    Thank you

The quote marks are correct. I just checked on an ipad and it works on Safari. It also works on the Samsung Internet Browser on a tablet and the Samsung Internet Browser on a Samsung S8+ phone. It only doesn’t work on Chrome in Android.

Have you cleared your browser cache in your mobile device?

Just out of curiosity can you check your desktop and or laptop. Does it work for you? The reason why I am asking is because it does not work for me in my laptop as I mentioned above.

I figured out the problem. It’s the caching plug-in WP-Rocket

I cleared the cache on all three websites and deactivated the plug-in and the buttons are working now.
