Audio files on .org and .com – differences?

I have a quick question. I see there is an upgrade pricing schedule for putting audio files on a wordpress.com site. Is there a similar pricing schedule for a ww.wp.xz.cn site?

I’m helping a friend get her wordpress.com site up, (I have a ww.wp.xz.cn that was customized), and I’m beginning to wonder if she would be better off with a .org site rather than all the nickels and dimes that are going to start adding up for video, audio, domain pointing, etc.

I pay considerably more for my site to be managed by a third party than her fees for the wordpress.com site. Even if she added everything I think she’d be lower.

What are the advantages, disadvantage, in this particular instance. The audio files.
