Audio functionality?

    Hi there! I hope I’m in the right area. I’m a musician in the middle of revamping my website. Among other things, I produce music for film and other multimedia.

    I love the look and feel of this plugin! I’m wondering if there is a work-around for playing audio? Or might this be a feature added in the future?

    In a perfect world, I’d love to showcase visuals (film posters, app icons, etc) and audio, all in a flexible grid layout. (Clicking on the image plays audio, hovering shows a “play/pause” icon). So far, I can’t seem to find a portfolio/gallery that supports this.

    Any help would be much appreciated – thank you so much!

    Hi.

    You may try to use Video post format and insert embed URL from some of the online services. For example SoundCloud:

    1. Track page – https://soundcloud.com/rodwave/girl-of-my-dreams
    2. Click on the Share button
    3. Open Embed tab
    4. Get the src attribute from the given code. This URL you may use in our popup galleries:

    https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/788584261&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true

    p.s. Audio post format is in plans, but has a low priority.
