    Hi there,

    a customer get this error: There was an error processing your payment. Reason: Authentication Required.
    I tried with my credit card and I got no errors: is it a customer’s credit card problem (3D secure not activated)?
    Or should I check something else in the configuration?
    She say the credit cards works fine in other websites..

    Hi @alberto2nuevocom

    On the Credit Card Settings page of the Braintree plugin make sure you have 3DS enabled via the checkbox.

    Is that enabled or disabled?

    thanks, it was disabled… Is it enough to enable this flag?

    I’m sorry I wasted your time on this, my client told me he enabled the 3D Secure on the Braintree account and I didn’t find this option… Thank you very much!

    Hi @alberto2nuevocom

    Yes, it should be enough to have the 3DS flag enabled. I’d recommend enabling 3DS for vaulted payment methods as well.
