    The author area can be removed via the “Additional Options” section in the Customizer (screenshot).

    You can use a plugin for adding related posts after your content. Contextual Related Posts is my favorite for this. Once activated, you can add the related posts widget to the “After Post Content” widget area to have it show below your posts.

    P.S. Really nice use of the theme 🙂
