Author Boxes

Hello!

The author categories aren’t registering properly. So when I add someone in as an editor it immediately changes them into an author again once I click update article.

I’ve tried on classic editor, block editor, quick edit and the edit function where you can select multiple posts.

Out of the 30 times I’ve tried twice it’s worked correctly.

I’ve ensured the correct category boxes are shown and it has worked on two articles. However I cannot touch anything on them otherwise it immediately reverts them back to authors.
