After installing Social Author Bio, I’ve been unable to get the author image to show. From other posts, I understand that it pulls it from the email profile that you give it. However, it fails to pull the pic when I was using my yahoo email. I changed to my gmail account and it still doesn’t show a pic. Any thoughts? The default way for WordPress to get a avatar for the user is to link the user’s email address (provided in their profile) with a Gravatar account. http://gravatar.com so, in your example if you provide a yahoo or gmail email address it needs to be linked with a Gravatar account (not Yahoo or Google).

If you don’t want to use Gravatar then you can find several good plugins that allow you to use a local avatar, where the user uploads an image to their profile. http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search.php?q=local+avatar
