Hi! I am trying your plugin, it’s great!

I am using the Wisdom of Life Theme, and when I post a blog, the author image does not show as it should (80×80), but it thumbnail to 80×70.

When I configure the image through gravatar.com, then I see it 80×80.

Where can I edit that, so that the image is retrieved at the original size?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi, Gravatar forces all of its images square. What I think is happening in your case is the original image was less than 150px in height. If you left your Media settings with the default settings (http://{yoursite}/wp-admin/options-media.php), thumbnails are cropped to 150×150. However, let’s say I have an original image that is 300×140. The thumbnail image that WordPress will create for it will actually measure 150×140.

You can try getting around this by uploading a slightly larger image or by cropping the image yourself to a perfect square. (You can do this in the Media Library.) Or you can change the default thumbnail sizes to something smaller and regenerate your thumbnails with this plugin: http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
