Author Link Not Working

    I have version 1.7.7 of the plugin running on WordPress version 5.8.1. I am using GeneratePress as my theme. Everything seems to work except the Author link…the code that renders on the page is this:

    Jon Smith

    I tried changing “Enable GeneratePress Theme Support:” to “Replace Post Meta Data”, but then the entire line of “Last Updated on May 31, 2021 by Jon Smith” disappears.

    Any ideas?
