Author page with redirection

    Goodnight! I have a redirection problem, analyzing through Semrush I noticed that there is a problem with the author link of the articles that is redirecting to the website’s home page, I tried changing the author’s URL and the same problem continues, I noticed that on the other 2 sites my that uses the same theme are also redirecting, I deactivated all plugins and nothing changed, so I installed the default WordPress theme and the problem was resolved, so I believe it is something in the theme.

    I would like to know what could be causing this? any wrong configuration? How could I fix it?

    Hello @matheus671

    I can say for sure that we do not have any code in Blocksy that could disable/redirect the author page to somewhere else. This is actually very peculiar, as the redirect wouldn’t be possible to come from our end.

    Have you thoroughly checked your setup? Are you sure that you haven’t added any additional code to the theme that could do this?

    Hi,

    only a idea, but do you have a seo plugin installed? Some of them deactivate the author archive to prefend dublicate content on search engines.
