Thanks for reaching out about the Author schema. This is only for WordPress posts and not custom post types. This is a WordPress limitation and not Yoast SEO. You can read more about the function that’s responsible for it in https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/reference/functions/get_the_author_meta/
