    hello i found a bug about /?author=1″ Disable Users Enumeration: because if you add a dot. you can reach user name too.
    try ?author=1″. for see

    Hi, I have tested the above as per your instructions. I receive the following message.

    Accessing author info via link is forbidden

    So, I can confirm that it is working on my site. Perhaps you might have a plugin conflict? Or do you have more than one security plugin installed?
