Authorisation code not generated

I am trying to log into my WordPress website. Twice I was asked to add a verification code which I DID NOT receive via email. Then I received an email indicating that both attempts were successful, even though I still cannot access my website.

This is urgent because it impacts on an appointment system on my website that I use to run my business.
