    Hi,
    yes, there are 2 options: Submit the app for verification by Google or use the same e-mail in the Google console as you then use to login from WordPress.

    i have the same problem, followed all the steps, and get that same error.
    im using the same email to log in, on console and wordpress.
    i saw somewhere a plugin that might need to be purchased? didnt really want to purchase another plugin.
    trying to set up a contact me thru simple form.
    this is just getting frustrating.

    Hi,
    there is no need to purchase anything. Contact form – are you sure you’re talking about the right plugin?

    I will look at it, may just be that Google changed something…

    Hi,
    it appears that the process has changed indeed

    Go to “OAuth consent screen” and change Publishing status to testing. Then add the e-mail address you want to use lower on the same page.

    Please let me know if this fixes your issues.
