Auto Accept Issue

We’ve been using the auto-accept function and have most items set to “auto-accept” an offer that is at least 90% of the listed price. However, we just realized that when WE submit a counter-offer, the 90% rule is now applied to the counter-offered price.
Example:
• Product listing: $360
• We received the first offer: $300
• We Counter-Offered: $324 (90% of $360)
• Buyer counter-offered at $295 and it was auto-accepted because $295 is within 90% of the $324 counter-offer.Aside from making every offer a “final offer” how can this rule be changed? This particular customer just took advantage of the system without knowing it…and we will likely lose money on the order.
