Auto ads not working

I’m using AMPforWP with Auto Ads from Adsense, but unfortunately this does not work. No ads show up on mobile devices on amp-pages. I’ve seen a lot of the same problems on this forum from other users, but I have not found a solution.

In the console I get this message: log.js:187 No ad placements found for publisher ID ‘ca-pub-xxx’. Check that the provided publisher ID is correct.

The ID is correct and on the regular website ads are showing. The auto ads code from Adsense is placed in Advanced settings and are in the source of the pages.
