Auto aggregate JS

Hi, firstly thanks for this great plugin.

I’ve got an issue where the cache is expanding rapidly and filling up, which is probably down to to this issue: http://blog.futtta.be/2014/03/19/how-to-keep-autoptimizes-cache-size-under-control-and-improve-visitor-experience/

However, when I tried to turn off the auto aggregate JS option autoptimize seems to keep re-checking the box. Is this the usual behaviour and if so how should I turn off the auto aggregate option?

I don’t want to force JS in head if I can help it as this blocks the page loading.
