As soon as you make your app public both things will start working.
App has been active since we set it up. FB status reads:
Your app is currently live and available to the public.
Then please just follow our very detailed and illustrated with many screenshots step-by-step instructions:

If you follow every step resulting app will post public posts and import will be working. You altered the process or changed some settings somewhere. it’s not possible to say where as it could be numerous places. Please create and setup a new app, following instructions.
Created a new app. Followed all directions. Still the same result.
I was successful in pulling 1 of my own comments from an auto-posted post but that was it. No other comments would come through. Now same began occurring with another websites where comments were pulling fine just last week. No changes done there to account for the problem. Sorry to say, but it seems like lately there has been an intermediate problem with the plugin pulling comments from facebook. Hope this helps

I believe so:
1. Scheduled posts are published on FB with no problem
2. Auto posting works as scheduled
3. There’s no errors in the log
Only thing – comments are not pulled from FB (except my own test comments made under the post and pulled manually) and FB posts are still seen only by friends.

So we came back to my previous answer. Plugin won’t import NON-Public comments. it’s prohibited by Facebook rules. If your posts are friends-only, only your friends are allowed to see those comments.
Please follow our instructions to the letter. Don’t do anything extra. You changed the app permission either during the creation or during the authorization. App must be public and it it must be authorized as “public”.

I am running this great plug-in on several websites with no problem; however this one website would just not cooperate causing the following:
