I really want this plugin to work but when I clear out the cache there is a message that pops that recreation will occur over time. The problem with that is it’s bringing my ‘mobile’ site back to a previous state that I don’t want it to be in. I have a social share buttons that appear on the top and specific to mobile and for desktop there are vertical social share on the side.

After I clear the cache, over a period of a few hours it reverts back to the social share icons like it is on the desktop (on the side) vs at the top. I have to go back and clear once again the cache and the mobile website will be fine for a few hours.

I had this plugin on two websites and since uninstalled on the one and now acting up on another. The issue is ‘not’ the social share plugin.

Not sure what options there are and would be willing to upgrade but not if issues like this will continue.

@wordpresstheme2 This issue comes up when you have a plugin installed that produces two variations of the theme: one for mobile and one for desktop. If the plugin in question does not integrate with the ZenCache Dynamic Version Salt feature, which allows a 3rd party plugin or theme developer to tell ZenCache to keep two separate versions of the cache–one for desktop and one for mobile–then ZenCache ends up loading whichever version was cached first (i.e., if you clear the cache, then visit with a mobile device, the mobile version will get cached and shown for Desktop users too).

We’re currently working on adding full support for a Mobile Mode that will do its best to automatically detect plugins that produce variations of your site for mobile users, however in the meantime you can get around this issue by simply excluding any mobile user agents in ZenCache → Plugin Options → User-Agent Exclusion Patterns:

    iPhone * Mobile
    iPod * Mobile
    Android * Mobile
    BB * Mobile Safari
    BlackBerry * Mobile Safari
    IEMobile/10.0 * Touch
    IEMobile/7.0
    IEMobile/9.0
    webOS
