    Hi there,

I’ve checked your documentation, as well as the forum threads, but unfortunately, I haven’t found the right solution for my problem yet.
Therefore, I would really appreciate it if you could help me with the following:

I have set up 3 membership plans on my site, one free and two premium/paid.
Both premium plans are monthly subscriptions, so Access Duration is set to “Expire After 1 Month”.

I also installed and configured the “Misc Shortcodes” addon, so that I can enable the “Auto Downgrade” feature for expired premium accounts. (https://prnt.sc/x6r94maE5o-t)

A month ago, I created a Test account (having the Sandbox mode enabled), and make a test payment through Stripe. So, today this account should be expired.

In the “Members” dashboard, the Test account status is “Expired”, but the membership level is still the premium one, it didn’t automatically downgrade to free…

    https://prnt.sc/841eeearN9mM

I also have to mention that I have set up different user roles with different capabilities specific to the free and premium plans (free = subscriber; premium = contributor).
Therefore, I would like the Auto Downgrade feature to both assign the correct membership level and automatically set the user role specific to the free plan, after the downgrade occurs.

    Please advise.

    Kind regards,
    M

    Hi,

    What shortcode are you using?

In the “Members” dashboard, the Test account status is “Expired”, but the membership level is still the premium one, it didn’t automatically downgrade to free…

Did you carry out the following step as per the note below?

Note: The account downgrade action takes place dynamically at the time the member (with expired account) tries to log into the site.

A month ago, I created a Test account (having the Sandbox mode enabled),

Sandbox mode works differently to live mode. I recommend you carry out a test using live mode rather than Sandbox mode.

    Regards.

    Hi there,

Thank you for your reply! I really appreciate your support!

    1.

    Sorry, I don’t get your question…
Which shortcode do I use for the “Members” dashboard…?

Yes, before checking if the Test account is downgraded, I logged into it in a private window.

I thought that Test Mode is working exactly like the Live Mode, the only difference being the payment process…

I don’t know how I could test whether the “Auto Downgrade” feature works properly or not before going live, and that’s what I’d like to achieve.

    Please advise.

    Kind regards,
    M

    Hi,

    Sorry, I don’t get your question…

My apologies I was thinking about a different addon.

In your case, please test a premium account set to expire in 2 days after registering. Then log in as that member and see if the account gets downgraded to a free membership level. In other words, don’t test this using a subscription button. Lets see what happens.

    Kind regards.
