    Hello,

Ref. the following screenshot. In User Registration, if you use the same smart tag {user_registration_password} you get two different passwords for notification 1 and notification 2. Using these passwords to log in you will find that for “account information” (notification 1) works while the other one doesn’t.

This is critical as, if you need to verify the email address of a registration, the information you are showing the customer in notification 2 should be the final piece.

So, how to get these aligned or what a smart tag should be put in notification 2 as the right one?

    Thanks.

    Hi @cosmospirit,

    We’d be happy to help!

It seems that you are using the paid version of WPForms. If you have an active license subscription with us, could you please submit a support ticket through the WPForms account dashboard when you have a chance?

From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your request.

    Thanks!

    Hi Shawon,

Thanks for your reply. Yes we are using a paid version however we are not able to initiate a ticket from the dashboard because it was the vendor who installed the Elite version for us and he would not provide us with the license key.

I am not attaching screenshots here as it proved to be a bit challenging to me:). Meanwhile I assume you are able to reproduce a same result at your side. Briefly, the probelm is – the password you get in the notification for “Email the user with their account information” is different from what you get in the notification for “Email the user once their account has been activated”, while using the same smart tag {user_registration_password}. The password in the latter notification needs to be correct or current for a user to log in to his account.

Or is there anything special to be minded to get it right?

    Thanks.

    Hi @cosmospirit,

    Thanks for the update.

As the user registration feature is part of the paid version of WPForms, I apologize that we’re not able to respond to paid version questions here in the ww.wp.xz.cn support forums for the free version.

To get support with the paid version, we have email support for the customers with a valid active license as mentioned in my last response.

    I appreciate your understanding.

    Regards,

    Hi @cosmospirit,

We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now.

But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to use our contact form and share some proof of ownership from your vendor so that we can help.

    Thanks!
