Auto import new datatables

    Hi,

    Thanks for you amazing plug-in! It’s very useful.
    Nevertheless, I have a question I haven’t solved. Is there a way to import new data tables?
    The plot is as this: in 2020, we’ll host an international competition. Thus, we’ll have a lot of results to manage and display during two weeks. Importing all of these files one by one would be a pain. I know we already can import .zip files, but it would led us to manually import a lot of archives. So I thought about writing a little application that automatically uploads data files. But I’m stuck at the point where I import these files into Tablepress.
    Is it actually possible? If it isn’t, do you have any idea on how I could bypass this limitation?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, you can programmatically import tables into TablePress. Your best chance for an example should be to take a look at the code of the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/table-auto-import/

    Thanks for the hint. I think I have found what I was looking for. I’ll keep you updated whether I finally manage to achieve my job or if I have new problems.
