Auto load trailers with metadata import?

    Hi!, I’ve just finished importing some 500 titles, but now I’m basically just opening each movie post and clicking trailers > search > update 500 times since almost always the first trailer found is the correct one. Is there a way to set the trailers plugin to auto search & load the trailer metadata along with the rest of the movie data the first time?

    Also, if such feature is possible, would there be a way to re-process already loaded movie posts?

    Hi there datodromo,

    Nope, unfortunately it can not be done for now as there is no way to trigger an action when metadata are fetched. Something likely has been asked on GitHub though, so I’ll see that the next version provide more hooks to make this kind of things possible 🙂

    As for your second question, there is an experimental plugin precisely to update already imported movies to get the latest recent data from the API, but I haven’t tested it in a while: https://github.com/wpmovielibrary/wpmovielibrary-updater. I’ll update it to make it work with the incoming hooks!
