You may be able to create a regular expression redirect, as described here:
https://redirection.me/support/redirect-regular-expressions/
Hello, i didnt quite understand it. My current permanent link structure is website/%category%/%postname%/ and im going to remove the /%category%/ so it looks like this website/%postname%/.
If i select this ” Monitor changes to permanent links in WordPress entries and pages.” (If you change the permanent link in an entry or page, then Redirection can automatically create a redirection for you.)
when i first install the plugin will it automatically create the reddirections?
Thank you for your time answering. Means a lot
Redirection does not monitor permalink structures. It monitors changes to a specific URL.
The page I referenced shows you how to create a regular expression that will redirect URLs matching your old permalink structure. You can find examples at the bottom of the page.
