“Auto remove” doesn’t work with the variable products

Hi,

When I click “Add to Cart”, it removes the product from the wishlist successfully, except for variable products.
I also tested this on the default Twenty Twenty-Five theme and the bug persists there as well.
With variable products, here is the issue:

Start → Click “Add to Cart” → the product appears to disappear from the wishlist → reload the page → the product is still showing on the wishlist page/popup.

Could you please look into this? Thank you in advance.
