Thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. This is only necessary for Instagram ‘Personal’ account connections for accounts that are marked as private. Unfortunately, the Instagram API does not allow for automatic renewal of these tokens and they must be manually renewed every 60 days.
For standard Personal account connections for public profiles, we automatically renew these before they expire. For Business Profile connections, these tokens never expire.

I am helping with a couple of websites that is using this on https://www.dunmowroversyouthfc.co.uk/gallery/ and https://www.dunmowcoachworks.co.uk/view-our-work/ pages.
Both seem to be disconnecting and the users are saying that they are not changing the password or logging out of everywhere which I have seen can cause a disconnect.
Their instagrams are https://www.instagram.com/dunmowcoachworks/ which seems to be a public personal account and https://www.instagram.com/dunmowroversyfc/
Would you happen to see anything that is causing these websites to periodically disconnect?

Apologies in the delay in getting a reply to you here. There could be multiple reasons for this where changing a password is one. Logging out of all devices, changing permissions when connecting on a separate website, removing the Smash Balloon app in the user settings, or even encryption issues on the site itself can cause it. We would need additional information about the feeds themselves to get more information on why exactly the connections do not stay valid, so if you still have issues please reach out via our support form found here.
