auto save question

    I can’t find the auto save/page revision option. I checked under screen options for posts and pages and it is not there.

    We lost some pages and would like to see if there was an auto save of those pages.

    There won’t be anything in twentyeleven functions to restrict revisions. Start a new post, edit and save a few times.

    tried it, saved 4 times and it still does not appear.

    anyone else have any ideas why auto save would not be showing up in a 3.42 installation? checked wp_config and function phps and there is not mention of auto save or revision in either of those programs.
