The blog post email is showing the whole post instead of the excerpt version even though I selected Auto-subscribe users to receive email as: HTML – Excerpt
Is there another setting I need to apply to make sure only the excerpt appears in the email to subscribers?

Only Registered Subscribers can get full content HTML emails in the free version and there is no global setting to change that.

well i am subscribed to the paid Subscribe2 HTML version if that’s what you mean. My intent though is for public subscribers to get the HTML-excerpt version which is what I thought I had selected but I checked one of my email accounts that is subscribed just as a public subscriber and it received an email with the full post in it not the excerpt.
what am I doing wrong?
