Auto update sanity check

    Hello,

    I’m curious if there might be an auto update feature in WooCommerce. Reason being, is that I noticed that I am now running 3.0.3 and I know I haven’t updated since 3.0.1

    I instructed my client to hold off on updating plugins, and nothing is showing up in the activity log plugin that I have installed, so I am suspecting that 1) the plugin was updated via FTP or 2) there is an auto update rollout for the plugin.

    I checked my wp-config.php file and functions.php file for my theme and I’m not finding any code in either that would run any auto updates to plugins.

    No, there is no auto-update – that would be dangerous for major versions. Check the hosting; some hosts offer this feature.

    WooCommerce 3.0 works fine for me. It’s not anyone else’s fault but yours that you ignored the bright red warning message on the plugins page and ran updates on your live website without testing.
