Autocomplete Lesson Issue

    I have an issue on my page where when I complete all topics with the “Autocomplete Lessons” module active, it does complete the lesson as expected.

    However, instead of brining me to the next lesson, it brings me back to the Course page.

    I have the “Free Form” instead of Linear option enabled.

    I also have the “Shared Topics” setting enabled.

    Is it possible with these settings enabled to have the Autocomplete move users to the next lesson in sequence instead of to the course page?

    I have the same issue with autocomplete lessons redirecting to the course page, rather than the next level. My course is linear but has shared topics too.

    Sorry to hear about the issues. I’m hoping you can both confirm a few questions for us:

    1. Is this happening with the Topics Autocomplete Lessons module enabled only? Or are you also using Toolkit Pro with any of its autocomplete modules enabled?
    2. When it’s taking you to the course instead of the lesson, are the lessons incomplete or have they been completed? Expected behaviour if users complete the final topic of a lesson that in turn completes the course is to take the user to the course (if it’s just been completed).
    3. What version of the Toolkit are you using? The behaviour described in #2 did change in the latest release.

    1. Yes. Topics Autocomplete Lessons is the only module that’s enabled, and I’m not using Toolkit Pro.
    2. Each lesson is being marked as complete when the topics are completed. Completing the final topic of the final lesson redirects to the course page (as expected). But completing the final topic of other lessons redirects to the course page too, instead of the next lesson.

    I am having the same issue on our course page.

    1. Yes. “Topics Autocomplete Lessons” is the only module that’s enabled, I do not use Toolkit Pro.
    2. Each lesson is being marked as complete when the topics are completed. Completing the final topic of the final lesson redirects to the course page (as expected). But completing the final topic of other lessons redirects to the course page too, instead of the next lesson.

    I have the same issue – autocompleting a lesson redirects to the final quiz (if such is present) or to the course page rather than to the next lesson in the progression.

    1. I had Pro turned on, but turned it off to debug. It appears to be the Topics Autocomplete that is the culprit.
    2. The lesson is marked complete as expected.
    3. 3.4.2 (3.7 Pro)

    As an update, some of the posters here did contact us via our Help Desk too and were provided with a fix to be included in 3.4.3. We’ll review the most recent 2 updates this morning to see if we expect 3.4.3 changes to fix what’s reported. If these do look like the same issue, we are tentatively planning to release 3.4.3 either late today or tomorrow morning.

    The 3.4.3 release came out earlier today. I think Ken tested this, but if anyone else is still seeing anomalies can you let us know? We’ll monitor this task for another day and if we don’t see updates we’ll flag it as resolved with the 3.4.3 release.

    Checked today, “Topics Autocomplete Lessons” has returned to its expected behavior. When all topics are completed, the lesson is marked complete and the user is taken to the NEXT lesson.
