autogenerate description

    If I have ticked [autogenerate description], does it mean that if when posting a new post, in the [Description] box if I fill in the desciption manually, the search engine result will display my description, if I do not fill in the [Description] box, it will autogenerate the description from the article?

    Or does it mean that If I have ticked [autogenerate description], it will always autogenerate the description from the article and anything filled into the [Description] box will not be used?

    My settings: all in one seo>advanced settings>autogenerate description [ticked]

    Hi gemstar,

    Anything you enter in the Description field will always override any autogenerated description.
