    Has anyone found a way to automate building their slideshow including uploading featured images, and the slide settings?

    What do you mean by automate? The slide images have to come from somewhere.

    I mean automating the Meteor Slides settings and uploading the appropriate images to the slides.

    How would this work? The settings have default options, but beyond that how would WordPress know what to change the settings to without someone to make that choice?
