Automatic anchor menu for single page theme

    I’m building a 1 page WordPress theme.

    I have a single template listing all page content and anchors as ID tags inserted from sanitized page titles.

    It’s all ready to go. I can create custom menu items with anchor links in them (using #).

    However, I really want to create a custom menu function that does this for my client automatically.

    Does anyone know how to do insert # symbols into the hyperlinks of a custom WordPress menu?
